Kindeva’s global health security division, Meridian Medical Technologies, LLC, has been awarded a $226 million contract to provide life-saving Antidote Treatment Nerve Agent Autoinjectors (ATNAA) for Defense Logistics Agency customers. With the potential of delivering over 3 million units from Kindeva’s autoinjector assembly center, the contract is set to support the U.S. warfighter against potential chemical threats.

In addition to supplying equipment and medical products, the DLA oversees the procurement and distribution of critical resources across the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and other federal agencies. Under its contract with Kindeva, the agency will support the safe manufacture and delivery of ATNAA.

Kindeva also produces DuoDote®, the civilian version of ATNAA. DuoDote® is provided to other U.S. government (USG) agencies, first responders and 30+ allied nations in preparation for domestic and international mass casualty events. Together, ATNAA and DuoDote®, are the only FDA approved dual chamber autoinjectors for nerve agent antidotes designed to administer atropine and pralidoxime chloride for the treatment of poisoning caused by organophosphorus nerve agents and organophosphorus insecticides.

“We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with the DLA as Kindeva continues to support the U.S. government in addressing evolving global security threats,” said David Stevens, CEO of Kindeva.

He continued: “Following the recent visit from the DLA to our St. Louis facility, we were proud to showcase our proven expertise in fill finish and highlight how our team is delivering critical medical countermeasures (MCM). This contract reflects Kindeva’s longstanding dedication to manufacturing high-quality, reliable treatments that help protect military personnel and civilian communities alike.”

“Successful execution of this contract is the result of over a year’s worth of close collaboration and honest communication with the DLA Team. Kindeva is excited to continue supporting the warfighter as the sole-source of this essential MCM,” said Tara Butler, Director, Government Contracts, Global Health Security

Kindeva will manufacture ATNAA auto injectors at its St. Louis, Missouri campus. The St. Louis campus is a part of a network in the region, strategically located to service pharmaceutical and biotech customers. The newest addition in Bridgeton specializes in fill finish production and was recently recognized as an ISPE “Facility of the Future” finalist in 2025.
